Yap Ah Shak House Sdn Bhd (Yap Ah Shak House) operates a six-storey commercial building which has been meticulously designed for luxury, comfort and exclusivity.
The completely redeveloped and refurbished property is located along Jalan Yap Ah Shak in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s heritage centre.
Built for business and created with exceptional service in mind, Yap Ah Shak House comprises refined office space spread over three floors, an events salon on the fourth floor and rooftop, a ground floor Italian eatery and espresso café, and a rooftop member’s lounge.
The design of Yap Ah Shak House has been guided by the WELL Building Standard™ and the work of the International WELL Building Institute in order to enhance productivity and well-being. Particular focus has been placed on the WELL concepts that include ensuring clean air (WELL Air), improved in-building lighting (WELL Light), comfortable interiors (WELL Comfort) and optimising mental health (WELL Mind).
Yap Ah Shak House offers private, fully furnished offices and bespoke workspaces complete with secure 24/7 key and RFID card access, fully managed VLAN and high-speed connectivity, season parking and valet parking. Active air quality management, climate control, optimised LED task lighting and ergonomic task chairs are provided as standard, as are complimentary curated provisions and refreshments.
Nine meeting rooms are available and fully equipped for physical and virtual meetings, with a hospitality-driven service delivery team on hand to provide effective meeting support. The meeting spaces accommodate from four to sixteen participants and are equipped with the latest easy-to-use video-conferencing, presentation and meeting management technologies. Club lounges on each floor and in the roof pavilion also offer a more relaxed option for meetings.
The events salon is a versatile space that offers both alfresco and climate-controlled environs spanning two floors; the fourth floor main hall and the roof garden pavilion. This provides a combined 10,000 square feet of event space is capable of accommodating up to 500 guests.
Osteria Gamberoni on the ground floor is a refined yet casual modern Italian kitchen with a menu inspired by heritage food from the coastal regions of Italy featuring handmade artisanal pizza, fresh pasta and seafood. Meanwhile sheltered within the rooftop pavilion on Yap Ah Shak House, with the twin towers in clear view after dark, is Terrazza, a members-only bacaro that offers an extensive selection of daily-made cicchetti to savour with a refreshing spritz (or two).
